2018 Parish Christmas Tree Lighting Held

The 2018 Church of the Infant Saviour Christmas Tree is lit!

On the evening of December 8, 2018 the Knights of Columbus Monsignor James S. Conlan Council #5329 held its Annual Parish Christmas Tree Lighting event at the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush, New York.  The lighting took place in front of the Church after the 5 pm Mass. Brother Knights, their families, and the Parish Community braved the cold to watch the tree be lit. Fr. Niranjan Rodrigo (Pastor of the Church of the Infant Saviour) led the Parish Community in prayer. Carols were sung by Parish members. A dinner followed for Brother Knights and their families at the Knight’s Council Hall located across the street from the Church.

Each year during Advent the Knights of Columbus Monsignor James S. Conlan Council #5329 sponsors the tree lighting including purchasing the tree, decorating the tree, and organizing the event. All at no cost to the Parish directly thanks to the continued support and donations from our generous Parish community members, as well as, donations from our Brother Knights themselves.

The Knights wish to thank Fr. Rodrigo for his support of our Council’s work in our Faith Community and for allowing the Knights to host the event again this year at the Church. We would also like to thank all the generous supporters who have donated money and purchased raffles throughout the year. Your continued financial support of our Council allows us to host events like this, as well as, to support those most in need within our Community through Works of Mercy. Finally we would like to thank the whole Parish Community for its support by attending the events we host and for letting others know about those events. We humbly ask you all to to keep our Council in your prayers. Merry Christmas!
