Just a reminder, that as announced last week the Knights of Columbus Monsignor James S. Conlan Council #5329’s fifth 2020 Lenten Dinner scheduled to take place on Friday, March 20, 2020 is being cancelled under the advisement of both the Vicariate of Orange County New York, as well as, the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council. Both organizations in light of the ongoing Covid-19 virus pandemic are asking local Councils and their Churches to limit public gatherings not directly related to Church functions such as masses and services. Specifically where food is being served it is not advisable at this time to hold such functions to limit any potential spread of Covid-19 or other viruses such as the flu that are currently circulating. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our Council feels that doing such is the most responsible action at this time even if it is merely precautionary in nature though clearly in the best interest of the Parish Community given the current situation.
Lenten meals will resume as soon as it is advisable to do so. A notice will be posted on our web site at that time with information about remaining meals in the series.
Please remember to keep all those who have been infected with Covid-19, as well as, all those who are sick right now in your prayers. Thank you as always for your support and understanding.
