The Knights of Columbus Monsignor James S. Conlan Council #5329 marched along with many other organizations and non-profit groups as well as first responders, law enforcement, veterans, active military and community government leaders in 2025 Annual Pine Bush Memorial Day Parade in support of our veterans and active military service soldiers with special remembrance of all those veterans who have died in service to our country whether in times of peace or war, in service or retirement. The Annual Pine Bush Memorial Day Parade was held on Monday, May 26, 2024 and took a route that went down Route 302, onto Route 52 (Main Street), down Center Street, and finally down North Street to the Veterans’ Memorial in the Town of Crawford Park. It was wonderful to see so many community members show up to watch and cheer on the parade especially when our veterans, military, first responders and law enforcement marched by. This means a lot to these people who give so much to our community as well as the families who have given all to the community by the sacrifice of a loved one in time of war or peace– times of active service or retirement. Remembering all our deceased veterans is so very important to remembering that sacrifice and honoring their memory as well as reminding us what the price of freedom has cost so many brave veterans as well as their families. We thank the Town of Crawford for allowing the event and supporting it each year. We thank the Town of Crawford Police Department for their excellent job of controlling traffic and keeping the parade route safe for all involved. We also thank our Catholic brothers and sisters in the Catholic War Vets Post # 1937 Pine Bush NY who coordinate our attendance in event each year with the veterans and local community organizations that run it. Finally thank you to all the Brother Knights who marched in the parade. Please keep all our veterans (living or deceased) as well as their families in your prayers!
