SUMMARY:Annual Lenten Parish Community Pasta Dinner
DESCRIPTION:The Knights of Columbus Monsignor James S. Conlan Council #5329 will hold its first 2020 Lenten Dinner on Friday; February 28\, 2020 at Parish Hall of the Church of the Infant Saviour (directions here). All members of the Parish are welcome to attend. Meals will start being served after the 6:30 pm Stations of the Cross concludes in the main Church (around 7 pm). \nThe menu is linguine pasta with either marinara (red) or clam (white) sauce. The dinner is dine in or take out. Stay in meals will be free. If you choose to take out the meal the cost is $5 per serving. If you choose to stay for the Community Dinner beverages\, bread\, and other food items will be served to you at no cost as well. \nYou can send in your stay in or take out orders via email. All email orders must be in by Thursday; February 27\, 2020 at 5 pm. There will also be an order list in the Church Atrium and also another order list in the Church Hall after each Mass this weekend for you to place orders for the event whether they be take out or stay in. The lists will be collected after the conclusion of the Sunday 11:15 am mass (approximately 12:20 pm) this weekend. It is important we receive an accurate amount of orders so we prepare enough food for everyone. We kindly ask that you make sure to place your order with us ahead of the order deadline. Food will finish being prepared at 7:45 pm and doors will close at 8:30 pm. If you wish to pick up orders later than this time please be sure to let us know ahead of time when you place your order so we hold your order for that pickup time. \nAs always we need volunteers so any Brother Knight who would like to help is welcome to do so. As those who have volunteered in the past will tell you\, those Knights who do volunteer for the event always get more out of it than they give! Please be at the Church Hall by 6 pm if you wish to help out at the event. \nAll proceeds from this event will be used to fund our various works of faith and charity provided to the Parish\, our community\, and our Church throughout the year. We thank you in advance for your support and patronage– we look forward to seeing you and your loved ones at the community dinner!
