“The Family Fully Alive” is part of the Knights of Columbus’ “Building the Domestic Church” book series. You can read the booklet online here.

As stated by Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson:

“The family as domestic church is a place of encounter with Christ within the community of a particular Christian family — a place where each member of the family has an important role.

The “mission” of the family in the task of evangelization is to be what it is called to be — that is, to live its daily life as a Christian family. As St. John Paul II said so often, “families, become what you are!”

The family’s mission to “guard, reveal and communicate love”— like the parish community — does not exist in an ideal place. The truth and beauty of the family must be communicated to every Christian family, even those that are fragile, wounded or broken. These families too may read the words of St. Paul with confidence: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (Rom 8:35). And they may find in that confidence a path of hope and healing.”

“The Family Fully Alive” makes the mission of your family becoming a Domestic Church an achievable reality by giving Catholic families practical advice on how to align your family structure and values with the Catholic Church’s values and beliefs. The booklet is a valuable resource for any Catholic family whether you are a newly married couple, having your first child, or already have several kids with years of marriage. Even engaged Catholic couples or single Catholics who are not even near marriage can gain valuable insights into how the Catholic family can achieve its mission as a “Domestic Church.”

Quantities of the booklet are limited and it is anticipated they will go quickly so please feel free to take your copy today while they last. You are also encouraged to share copies with other Catholics who may find it of interest and benefit from time proven liturgically sound advice for building stronger Catholic families.
