2018 Annual RSVP Seminarian Sponsorship Program – Our Council is again sponsoring seminarian Kareem Smith in 2018. He is now a Transitional Deacon at St. Patrick’s. He was our RVSP seminarian for 2017 as well. Altar Server Appreciation Day – Our Council sponsored an afternoon of bowling for the Altar Servers of the Church of the Infant Saviour on May 12, 2018 in appreciation for their service to the Parish and dedication to their church mission. Each Altar Server received a Certificate of Recognition as well. More info on this event can be found here.
New Council Members And a New Online Knights Recruiting Site – Three new members joined our Council in April 2018. All three joined through the new online membership web registration site launched in February 2018 by the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council. Our local Council web site was updated in April 2018 to link to this sign up page as part of the online membership recruiting initiative. Online membership is yet another way we can make joining the Knights easy and accessible 24/7. If you are interested in joining or you know someone who might be interested you can sign up online here.
New Council Polo Shirts – Our Council worked with a local business to monogram polo shirts with our new Council name. This is part of our Council dedication re-branding that started in late 2017. Council members can purchase new shirts by emailing us your order. The price is $27 per shirt for sizes small, medium, large or extra large. XXL can be purchased for $29 per shirt.
