Council # 5329 Earns Father Michael J. McGivney Award for 2020

On Thursday, November 12, 2020 the Knights of Columbus Monsignor James S. Conlan Council #5329 was awarded by the Knights Supreme Council the Father Michael J. McGivney Award for efforts completed during the 2019-2020 Fraternal Year by the Council. The award was presented by Knights District Deputy Paul Plate’  to the Council’s Grand Knight, Charlie Cino, during the Council’s Monthly Business Meeting that evening. DD Plate’ noted that the Council worked hard to once again achieve a Council award and encouraged the Brother Knights in the Council to continue its good work.

The Council had previously earned its last Father McGivney Award back in 2017. That year’s award was related to membership growth. This year’s award was for involvement in the Knights Insurance program that helps to ensure that Brother Knights and their families have access to affordable highly rated life insurance as well as other long term life investment options. The Knights Insurance Program is one of the many benefits of being a Knight of Columbus. You can find out more about the program here.

If you are interested in joining the Knights of Columbus you can do so online here. Of course, if you did have any questions regarding joining please feel free to contact the Council here.
