As announced three months ago: The Knights of Columbus Monsignor James S. Conlan Council #5329 of Pine Bush, New York were again this year offering a $500 scholarship for a graduating senior that lives in the Pine Bush School District. In keeping with our faith, all applicants wrote an essay addressing the following topic:
There are people today who doubt that Jesus was God in the flesh or that that he existed at all. How would you explain your faith in Jesus and how he was a real historical person and the Son of God?
Our Scholarship Committee reviewed all essays submitted blindly and after finalizing their selections are happy to announce that this year’s winner of the 2023 Msgr. James S. Conlan Council #5329 College Scholarship is Pine Bush Senior and Church of the Infant Saviour Parishioner Ashlyn Storch!
We wish Ms. Storch and all the 2023 high school graduates good fortune in their future endeavors. May God Bless them and their families abundantly! Congratulations once again to Ms. Storch and thank you to all entrants who submitted essays for this year’s scholarship!
